2021 QB Profiles

QB is the most important position in the NFL, but there are plenty of options for fantasy. Have a look at their outlook for the 2021 season below.

Including our 2021 projections for each player!

QB Profiles

Ryan Tannehill (Tennessee Titans)

QB13

KCR 6.8

Tannehill is the leader of an offense that operates through a wrecking ball RB, or its star WR.

That can mean lumpy production for Tannehill, with the Titans letting Corey Davis and Jonnu Smith go without any real replacements.

**UPDATE 06/06** With the team acquiring Julio Jones, Tannehill gets a bump up in this tight grouping. The offense is likely to be the same run-first offense, but Jones is a massive upgrade at receiver.

Kirk Cousins (Minnesota Vikings)

QB14

KCR 6.8

Cousins is the typical streamin QB. A consistent performer, but one that isn’t going to blow the doors off.

The Vikings have weapons on offense, with their duo of receivers in Adam Thielen and Justin Jefferson, as well as elite RB Dalvin Cook.

Matthew Stafford (Los Angeles Rams)

QB15

KCR 6.6

Matthew Stafford was traded to the Rams as part of a blockbuster trade that moved Jared Goff to Detroit. The Rams offense is stacked with talent, and Stafford could be the guy to unlock it and take the team deep into the playoffs.

Ben Roethlisberger (Pittsburgh Steelers)

QB16

KCR 7.2

Roethlisberger is often overlooked in drafts. The reason being that he can be frustrating to own from a health standpoint, as well as having some games where he struggles.

However, leading one of the most potent offenses in the league, he is worth drafting as a streaming option.

Jalen Hurts (Philadelphia Eagles)

QB17

KCR 3.6

ADJ KCR 6.6

First of all, let’s just quickly unpack the low KCR. It is based on all of the games that he played in, which isn’t really ‘fair’. Taking out the games he had minimal action in, it is 6.6. So we’ve shown both.

The Eagles made Hurts their QB early in the offseason, and have made moves to try and give him the tools to succeed. Loading up with rookie talents DeVonta Smith and Kenneth Gainwell.

The rushing ability of Hurts will help his value for fantasy, but tho be a top option his passing needs to improve.

Matt Ryan (Atlanta Falcons)

QB18

KCR 6.8

The Falcons’ offense is reliant on Matt Ryan’s ability to move the ball through the air. That has been the case the past few seasons, as the team’s defense has struggled to make any stops.

This offseason the team added on offense with the highly-lauded Kyle Pitts, as well as attempting to make some improvements on their offensive line.

The pass attempts are surely going to go down aren’t they? Even if they do, the way this team is setup Ryan needs to feed Julio Jones, Calvin Ridley and the forementioned Pitts.

**UPDATE 06/06** Atlanta traded away Julio Jones, hurting Matt Ryan for fantasy next year. The team is likely to pass a similar amount, but there is a big hole for a productive receiver.

Daniel Jones (New York Giants)

QB19

KCR 6.8

Daniel Jones was able to add two new receivers in Kenny Golladay and Kadarius Toney to his weapons alongside Saquon Barkley returning to fitness. However, the Giants offense is still in need of talent if Jones was to succeed for fantasy.

Ryan Fitzpatrick (Washington Redskins)

QB20

KCR 5.6

Fitzpatrick is a fantasy darling, but mainly for the production that he brings receivers rather than his own. Not the most reliable option, prone to mistakes. But will have some big games.

Baker Mayfield (Cleveland Browns)

QB21

KCR 6.3

The Browns offense is predicated around the run, and efficient looks through the air. Mayfield fits into the mold for success in this offense. More of a spot-start than an must-roster player.

Trevor Lawrence (Jacksonville Jaguars)

QB22

KCR N/A

Lawrence was selected at the top of the draft, for good reason. He is a generational talent, ready to play from Day One in the league.

The Jaguars have offensive pieces ready to go, the pressure is there for Lawrence to succeed, but he has a great situation to do so.

Sam Darnold (Carolina Panthers)

QB23

KCR 6.9

Darnold was moved on from being the Jets Q, after struggling in recent times. More importantly, he gets to not be coached by Adam Gase, surrounded by the best talent he has had in his career.

Jared Goff (Detroit Lions)

Goff moves froma  star-studded offense in LA to a team that is at the start of a rebuild. The team don’t really have a true lead receiver, so expect to see some spreading of the offense.
