In this article, I am going to bring you 3 WR options that I believe are primed for a breakout and are huge buy lows in dynasty for 2021. I believe the best way to build or rebuild a solid dynasty foundation is by starting with the Wide Receivers.
Christian Kirk (ARI)
Once a dynasty darling within the community Kirks stock has plummeted. This is in part to future hall of famer Larry Fitzgerald. Kirk was always a slot guy coming out of Texas A&M. Unfortunately the Cardinals have just not used him that way. This is set to change with Larry Fitzgerald’s expected retirement. I fully expect the Cardinals to move Kirk back to his natural position. Kirk saw a career-high in touchdowns last year with 6, I am projecting an increase as Kirk becomes that safety valve for Murray. Sure, Deandre Hopkins will get his usual share but are we really worried about the surrounding cast for Kirk? I am not.
Quintez Cephus (DET)
Cephus was getting some real buzz within the community until the Lions bought in Tyrell Williams and Breshad Perriman via free agency, after letting go Marvin Jones and Kenny Golladay via free agency this year. I cannot understand why this buzz has gone away, neither Williams nor Perriman fit what Jared Goff is good at getting the ball out quick to the slot guy. That is the position Cephus will be playing for the Lions. Even if the Lions use their first-round pick on a rookie wide receiver, Cephus is in line for a starting spot in 2021. Furthermore, the Lions’ defense will once again struggle next season, forcing the offense to chase points often. This increases Cephus’ upside massively.
Robby Anderson (CAR)
Let’s put some respect in Robby Anderson’s name. Anderson posted his first 1000 yard receiving season last year with Teddy Bridgewater as his quarterback. For me, the Panthers upgraded their quarterback room with the trade for Sam Darnold this off-season. With a connection from their days in New York together. Sure, the return of CMC to this offense could affect his targets but let us not forget the targets vacated by Curtis Samuel. The Panthers bought in former Seahawk David Moore via free agency, but this is nothing to be scared about. Even if the Panthers add a WR via the draft Anderson at 28 remains the WR2 on this team offering WR1 upside.
Thanks for reading, any guys that are screaming dynasty buy lows for you?
