The season is moving along as we enter Week 13 of the 2021 season, continuing our IDP Start ‘Em Sit ‘Em series. Only a few weeks left for most leagues, you do not want to be a coach watching others continue to play… Do you? Roster management is at a pinnacle in order to earn a playoff spot. Let’s play the teams/players that will get us points, and pine the others!
As always, if you are struggling with a decision you can checkout our rankings for each Week. Or, if you want a more personal touch, reach out on social media. You can find us on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram. Or jump into our Discord server.
Start ‘Em
Tampa Bay Buccaneers @ATL
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers find themselves in third of what is a tight top 3 for the NFC crown. If a tie comes to divisional games, they will want to win their remaining 4… starting with the Atlanta Falcons. Twice in the past 6 weeks, the Falcons have allowed the opposing D/ST to be the highest scoring position in #FantasyFootball7s format. The Bucs should control the game with their amazing Front 7, and earning sacks against Matty Ice and company.
Miami Dolphins v NYG
The Miami Dolphins have been on a roll as of late and playing against a back up QB with a banged up receiving core, playing behind arguably one of the worst offensive lines in the NFL. They should capitalize and put up another excellent performance, propelling their playoff hopes.
Deeper leagues: Indianapolis Colts @HOU, Losa Angeles Rams v JAX
Sit ‘Em
The Carolina Panthers are a top 4 Fantasy D/ST and you should pine them for a couple favorable playoff matches. The Cincinnati Bengals are playing great but could give up several points to the Bolts. The Denver Broncos are playing great but do you really want your playoff hopes to be pinned against Mahoms and Reid after a bye?
Start ‘Em
Dustin Hopkins (LAC) had a poor outing last week, and likely was dropped in several leagues. The Bengals are unpredictable, but Justin Herbert is not. Expect an offensive bounce back performance from the Chargers, which should benefit Hopkins.
Greg Joseph (MIN) is the well that does not run dry. If you are in a league which streaming kickers is an option, look no further. As my podcast Big Amo mentioned, The Vikings don’t want to win games by much more than 3 points, and surprise Joesph made the game winning field goal against the Lions in their match earlier this year.
Deeper leagues: Robbie Gould @SEA, Matt Gay v JAX
Sit ‘Em
Tyler Bass (BUF) is top 10 kicker, but the Bills could have a bad performance against the red hot Patriots. Younghoe Koo (ATL) could be in for a low scoring game against the Bucs defense.
Start ‘Em
Chris Jones (KC) has been on a tear lately, and playing against back up offensive linemen this week. He has been a major contributor in the Chiefs recent win streak, and there is no indication that will change in Week 13. Play him
Christian Wilkins (MIA) is a streaming option for most #IDP leagues, and he has a chance for a season high total game in tackles. The Giants are destined to run often with Danny Pesos out this week.
Deeper leagues: Justin Houston
Sit ‘Em
You are keeping Myles Garrett (CLE) at all cost, drop your TE1 before dropping him. Seriously at all cost! In most leagues, you are keeping Jeffery Simmons (TEN) and Brian Burns (CAR) for delightful playoff schedules. A high scoring DL is valuable beyond measure in the late game of December.
Start ‘Em
TJ Watt (PIT) it feels a bit silly having the 7th ranked LB in the Play mention, but he has CLEARED COVID Protocol. A divisional game that has been the most intense rivalry of the century. TJ will have to have his thumbprint on this game for the Steelers to have a chance.
Markus Golden (ARI) is having a nice season. The Cardinals are fresh off the bye, should be getting their star QB back, and playing the Chicago Bears who have displayed they are mentally checked out for the season. Golden has a chance to add to his double-digit sack total
Deeper Leagues: C Holcomb (WAS) S. Barrett (TB)
Sit ‘Em
Fred Werner (SF) is doubtful this week and should be placed on the pine out of precaution. Eric Kendricks (MIN) has been a stud for your lineup but has an official OUT designation, Pine him and hope he can be healthy for a playoff push. Robert Quinn (CHI) has been outstanding but don’t expect him to chase down K. Murray this week.
Start ‘Em
Jonathan Abram (LV) is poised to have a high tackle game. The Football Team has displayed an effective strategy of controlling the ball with run plays and short passes. Abram should be involved in 10 or more tackles if Washington controls the clock.
Logan Ryan (NYG) is back and should be back to his high tackle volume. The T.O.P should favor the the Dolphins which means more tackles for the true leader of the Giants Defense. 10 or more tackles are well within reach.
Deeper Leagues: JC Jackson (NE), L. Sneed (KC)
Sit ‘Em
Kyle Dugger (NE) is a top 5 DB but is on the COVID list and will likely not play this weekend. Pine him and stash for a playoff push. Xavier Woods (MIN) is a top 20 DB but the Lions will run and pound and dish off 2–4 yard passes which does not benefit Woods at all. Jalen Ramsey (LAR) will not have the high point game most are predicting against his former team, because the Rams offense will be on the field for most of the game.
Well that’s it for our IDP Start ‘Em Sit ‘Em for Week 12 of the 2021 season. Remember, you can check out rankings for each Week. Reach out on social media, you can find us on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram. Or jump into our Discord server.
