Start 'Em
New Orleans Saints @SEA
The New Orleans Saints are coming off a bye and playing against a 2nd string backfield. The Saints defense has carried a hit and miss offense thus far, and could do the same in Seattle. They should dominate the Seahawks in T.O.P and keep Seattle from scoring many points.
Denver Broncos @CLE
The Denver Broncos are in a similar situation, on the road against a 2nd(3rd) string backfield and a banged up O-Line. The Broncos have lost 3 in a row after a hot start, and a short week could benefit them against a severely banged up team, lacking any rhythm. Look for several sacks and a few interceptions from the Broncos.
Matt Gay v CAR
Gay could be in for a busy game, as 5 extra points and 2 field goals are well within his reach. This is a match up of QBs playing against their former team, and Stafford/Gay have the better offense/coach of the battle.
Mason Crosby v WAS
Crosby has been so-so for fantasy purposes, and is available in over 50% of leagues. The Washington Football Team (WFT) have allowed the most points in the league this year, 186. The Green Bay Packers are red hot and at home, meaning Crosby could have a great day of production.
DeForest Buckner @SF
Buckner is one revenge game we should keep an eye on. The return against his former teammates should be an interesting one. The 49ers have a weak offensive line, and have no identity. Buckner could have a multiple sack game.
Myles Garrett v DEN
Garrett is likely owned but he will be having a personal battle with fellow Texas A&M Aggie Von Miller to see who can the most sacks. If Garrett is owned snag teammate Jadeveon Clowney (CLE). The Raiders were able to get to QB Teddy Bridgewater often and the Browns should be able to as well.
Jeffery Simmons v KC
Simmons should give Mahomes a lot of grief, and gobble up any running attempts to his side. A great play for deeper leagues as well.
Von Miller @CLE
Miller went on the record that he will destroy whoever is across from him this Thursday. We should not doubt him, he will want to outshine Garrett, and want to sack his former teammate (Case Keenum). There should be at least one sack from Miller and he is available in most leagues.
David Long v KC
Long has been a solid, tackling machine for the Titans. He is the 27th ranked LB and likely available in most leagues. Go get him and PLAY him against a Chiefs offense that plays with a high pace offense.
Deeper Leagues: Bobby Okereke @SF and Cole Holcomb @GB
Kevin Byard v KC
Byard is another Titan that should do well against an offense that runs several plays. He will be in coverage often and he has a knack for being near the ball with 29 tackles and 3 interceptions.
Jonathan Abram v PHI
Abram should be in for a career type game against an offense that calls for several passes in the flats. Abram will be all over the field and should be a must start for you this week.
Deeper Leagues: DJ Reed v NO
Sit 'Em
Buffalo Bills BYE
The Bills should not be dropped from your team. Put the #1 D/ST on the pine and enjoy their extremely easy schedule the rest of the way.
Chicago Bears @TB
The Bears are the 3rd ranked D/ST but are going to have a tough time against Tom Brady and the Bucs, especially without R. Quinn.
Tyler Bass BYE
Bass (BUF) should not be dropped from your team. Put the #1 kicker on the pine and enjoy his extremely easy schedule the rest of the way. Also do the same with Greg Zuerlein (DAL) as he is on bye. Chase McLaughlin (CLE) could have only a few kicking opportunities Thursday.
Danielle Hunter (MIN) is an elite DL that should be stashed and used as a locked and loaded roster position. Between quick passes and quicker legs, the Raiders DL combo of Solomon Thomas/Yannick Ngakoue (LV) will have a hard time getting to J. Hurts.
Micah Parsons (DAL) and Eric Kendricks (MIN) are both on bye and locked and loaded as your LB 1 for the rest of the season. Eat the bye week and have a big play LB the rest of the year. Robert Quinn (CHI) tested positive for COVID and could be out this week.
Derwin James (LAC) should be held onto at all cost. Drop a RB, WR, or any other position before you drop Derwin. He could be consensus #1 All-Pro by seasons end, meaning more big plays and the tackle count could lead all DBs. Harrison Smith (MIN) is worth keeping and B. Murpy (ARI) is not worth starting this week against a bad Texans offense.
