Start 'Em
Cincinnati Bengals @NYJ
The Bengals are playing the New York Jets who will be rolling with a backup QB to lead the way. The Bengals have 19 sacks, 5 interceptions, and 5 forced fumbles on the season. All three will be up after Sunday.
Washington Football Team @DEN
The WFT has performed poorly thus far this season. Yet they generated pressure against the Packers and should be able to against the Denver Broncos. Expect low scoring, high sacks, and a few turnovers in this game.
Deeper leagues: San Francisco 49ers @CHI, Philadelphia Eagles @DET
Greg Joseph v DAL
Joseph has saved his team more than once, and could be the most valuable kicker for any team. The Vikings have the Cowboys coming to town and the Cowboys defense is still allowing teams to push the ball down the field. This match could come down to the leg of Joseph to decide the outcome.
Graham Gano @KC
Gano is having a wonderful year despite his team being awful. He is the 7th ranked kicker and could be in for a busy game against the Chiefs. Kansas City has not been able to sustain drives, or stop the opponent from controlling the T.o.P.
Deeper leagues: Brian Johnson v TB, Mike Badgley v TEN
Trey Hendrickson @NYJ
Hendrickson has quietly had a superb season; 6.5 sacks, 12 QB hits, 1 forced fumble, and 5 tackles for loss. He is the sack specialist of the Bengals, and he should feast against a poor Jets offensive line.
Montez Sweat @DEN
Sweat will be coming off the edge against a poor Broncos O-Line. Chase Young garnishes a double team or chip block on almost all pass plays leaving Sweat the opportunity to win 1-on-1 battles. Play him.
Deeper leagues: Kenny Clark @ARI, Randy Gregory @MIN
Nick Bolton v NYG
Bolton is turning out to be a steal of the 2021 Draft pick. He has 55 tackles and played 84% of the snaps last week. He is a tackling machine with a high fantasy floor, and he should get his tackles against the New York Giants.
David Long @IND
Long is playing like he wants to be in the Pro Bowl. He has 51 tackles and really seems to be finding a groove as an inside linebacker. The Colts are going to run often, and throw several screens. Long should have a high tackle game.
Deeper Leagues: Markus Golden v GB, Jonathan Greenard v LAR
Anthony Brown @MIN
Brown has 32 tackles, 2 Interceptions, and 6 passes defended. That averages out to 5 tackles, and a pass defended per game with an INT every 3 games. Kirk Cousins will throw his way to avoid throwing towards Diggs. It should be a high volume game for Brown.
Harrison Smith v DAL
Smith could have a high volume pass game as the Cowboys run several plays. Dak completes most of his passes, meaning more tackling volume for Smith. RBs Zeek/Pollard usually makes it to the 2nd level of the defense which presents more opportunities for Harrison. Play him
Deeper Leagues: Adrian Amos @ARI, Micah Hyde v MIA
Sit 'Em
Cleveland Browns v PIT
The Browns are the 6th ranked D/ST and have shutdown almost everyone they have played, but the Steelers are rolling and have had 2 weeks to prepare for a rivalry that has been renewed.
Pine the Arizona Cardinals and Tennessee Titans also.
Justin Tucker & Daniel Carson BYE
Don’t drop them. Pine both of them, and you don’t need to worry about filling the kicker position for the rest of the year.
Maxx Crosby (LV) should not be dropped unless it is a 1 IDP roster league. He is the 4th ranked DL and does not ever take a play off, a non stop motor that keeps the same pace from whistle to whistle. Christian Wilkins (MIA) will not have the stat total he’s used against the pass happy Bills.
Denzel Perryman (LV) should not be dropped at any cost! He is the 2nd highest scoring IDP (120.70) and has a tackle pace that could end with ‘Most Tackles’… always a valuable IDP stat. Pine him if you have him. Azeez Ojulari (NYG) had a career high in points, do not expect the same performance this week.
Kenny Moore II (IND) is the 3rd ranked DB, 2nd on the team in tackles, and plays 100% of defensive snaps. However, he will not see the same volume against the King Henry’s Titans. JC Jackson (NE) could have a slow week against the Chargers. Pine him.
