Our Tennessee Titans 2022 Fantasy Preview gives you the run down on the teams outlook going into the season. The team have the same coaching staff, but have made some large changes on their roster.
No longer do they have A.J. Brown out wide just destroying defenders, or the aging Julio Jones offering a supporting role. Instead the team have brought in veteran Robert Woods who suffered a serious injury last year, and Austin Hooper who failed to make the headlines in Cleveland.

Positional Previews
Notable Players- Ryan Tannehill
Tannehill has really struggled to shake the Miami stink off, but with the Titans he really has been effective for fantasy. Being able to rely on Derrick Henry to move the chains really has allowed Tannehill to take his time in the pocket, and Brown has been top tier out wide.
With his passing volume not as high as other QBs, I’m out on him to start the season at least. Moving from one of the most efficient receivers in Brown to a rookie (Treylon Burks) and a veteran who could struggle with injury (Robert Woods) really hurts his value.
I’d rather take someone like Tua Tagovailoa and see what he could become with the talent around him, rather than have Tannehill on my roster.
Notable Players- Derrick Henry & Haasan Haskins
Let’s be honest, the position is Henry or bust. The big question mark will be if Henry can continue to shoulder the massive workload he has been given in recent seasons. If he can, you have fantasy golddust.
The biggest question mark that used to exist seems like it is being quelled a little too, as he has started to catch more passes in the offense.
I’d take Haskins in deeper leagues to stash incase we see Henry start to break down, but it’s really hard to overlook Henry in fantasy.
Notable Players- Treylon Burks, Robert Woods & Nick Westbrook-Ikhine
The passing volume in this offense makes it hard for a (normal) WR be fantasy viable. A.J. Brown may have been great, but his efficiency was insane. The team opted to let him go this offseason, and bring in a similar player in the draft in Burks.
Burks is likely the depth chart lead at the position to start the season, especially with injury concerns around Woods.
Woods at this point feels like a player that is going to be overdrafted due to past performances. The injury that he suffered (from reports) seems to be behind him, but learning the offense as well as the reduced volume? I’m not confident in adding him to my roster outside of a late-round selection.
Westbrook-Ikhine could be a player to keep your eye on early season. He is the most notable player that has a history with Tannehill at QB. I’d look to trade him early if he hits and a league-mate bites.
Notable Players- Austin Hooper
Hooper was great when he was in Atlanta, but failed to make a significant impact in Cleveland. The TE position has been up for grabs since Jonnu Smith left the team, with Smith also being limited to RZ looks.
Hooper has an outside shot of being able to perform like he did in Atlanta, but it’s something I’d let someone else worry about. The Titans offense has been fine with splitting snaps at the position.
