Well we are (nearly) done with another week of 2022 action, so time to finetune your roster with our Week 10 Waiver Wire pickups. Making the right moves on the waiver wire is how you can really win your league. Getting those upside depth pieces, and cutting the players that are going to struggle from your roster is going to help you going forwards
Bye Weeks
We now have to start dealing with bye weeks too. Because when your roster is already struggling with injury, why not?
Teams on bye this week:
- Baltimore Ravens
- Cincinnati Bengals
- New England Patriots
- New York Jets
Rules for Selection & Order Priority
For a player to be considered to be added, they have to:
- Have an rostered % of 50% or under on ESPN
- Players below are listed by their roster %, not priority. Know your league settings. If there is a high-priority add, you’ll know.
Justin Fields (CHI) v DET 46.8% rostered
I really hope you picked up Fields last week when I recommended it. Firstly, because if you had him and played him he would have put you in a great position for your matchup this week. Secondly, if you didn’t you are going to need to spend up big with your FAAB to get him. This past week he showed everything he could be in an offense, and with Aaron Rodgers struggled against Detroit, the Bears should be fine.
Daniel Jones (NYG) v HOU 46.1% rostered
Jones was on bye last week, so was dropped in leagues. If you need a streaming option then Jones is it. Not only does he play Houston this week, he has Detroit next week. With how the Giants have used him this season, he has been able to be very fantasy viable despite the impact of injuries to the WR position.
Andy Dalton (NO) @PIT 17.0% rostered
Ah yes, the player that goes on MNF that can make this look stupid. Dalton has found a way of getting the group of receivers he has to move the ball and create yards and scores. The Steelers defense is getting back on track, with players returning from injury, but Dalton has the ability to overcome that unit in this offense.
Others to Consider
- Marcus Mariota (ATL) @CAR 35.0% rostered
- Baker Mayfield (CAR) v ATL 2.7% rostered
Jeff Wilson Jr. (MIA) v CLE 44.9% rostered
The Dolphins put their trade acquisition into the game straight away. Wilson knows the playbook from his time with the 49ers, and should be able to have a nice role alongside Raheem Mostert moving forward. His stat-line from the matchup with the Bears (72 all purpose yards, with 3 receptions and a score) is one that he should be able to repeat. Making him a flex consideration at least week to week.
Kenyan Drake (BAL) BYE 40.1% rostered
Bit of a speculative pickup, given the fact the Ravens are on bye which should give some of the backfield time to get fit. But, when it comes to soft tissue injuries, they can re-occur, and Drake is currently the lead back on a run-first offense.
Latavius Murray (DEN) @TEN 26.9% rostered
Murray has been getting a decent timeshare in the Denver backfield, and getting opportunities in the redzone. With how injuries on all teams are piling up, you can’t really look past a player that has been getting an average of around 13 touches per game, regardless of opposition.
Gus Edwards (BAL) BYE 39.4% rostered
With a number of teams on bye, and Edwards injury status for the week he may have been dropped. If he has, he feel like an immediate scoop up. The Ravens are one of the most run-heavy teams in the league, and Edwards has been given the workload when he has been fit.
Rachaad White (TB) v SEA 19.9% rostered
We are starting to get to the point of the season when we start to load up on backups. Tampa Bay’s offense isn’t shaking trees, but it still gives a nice number of touches to it’s backfield. White has shown flashes this season, and in a real pinch you could start him in a deep league and expect to get 5-7 points.
Others to Consider
- Chuba Hubbard (CAR) v ATL 31.6% rostered
- Alexander Mattison (MIN) @BUF 27.5% rostered
- Jerick McKinnon (KC) v JAX 10.7% rostered
- Samaje Perine (CIN) BYE 3.8% rostered
- Zack Moss (IND) @LV 2.2% rostered
Michael Gallup (DAL) @GB 41.0% rostered
Gallup hasn’t had one of those big games that he is capable of yet this season. With the bye week allowing Gallup and the offense to rest up, they have a decent matchup against the Packers this week. With CeeDee Lamb most likely getting the attention of Jaire Alexander, Gallup should have the time to make plays.
Mecole Hardman (KC) v JAX 36.1% rostered
Hardman continued his role in the Chiefs offense as the big play gadget option. The Chiefs offense is built on the ability of Patrick Mahomes getting the ball out to his playmakers. Hardman is a risky play most weeks due to volume in the offense, but he has been highly effective this season.
Wan’Dale Robinson (NYG) v HOU 20.3% rostered
Robinson had back-to-back good weeks before struggling in Week 8. With a bye week to recover from the knock he got in that game, he should be able to return to that form in the next two weeks with matchups against Houston and Detroit.
Donovan Peoples-Jones (CLE) @MIA 12.6% rostered
Peoples-Jones has some appeal in deeper leagues. The Browns offense is built around establishing the run, but Peoples-Jones is a big part of keeping defenses from stacking the box with his deep threat. A matchup against Miami
DeAndre Carter (LAC) @SF 10.0% rostered
Carter will have flex appeal while the Chargers are without their star receivers, Keenan Allen and Mike Williams. The Chargers offense has built itself on the it’s ability to move the ball through the air, and will be relying on Joshua Palmer and Carter to catch it. Carter is a short-term measure, as Palmer is likely to see targets even when Allen and Williams return.
Terrace Marshall (CAR) v ATL 8.4% rostered
Marshall has seen an uptick of targets recently in the rebuilding Panthers offense. There aren’t alot of playmakers in the offense, but there are targets. Marshall has been warming up the past few weeks, and while his production came in garbage time in this one, the Atlanta secondary he faces next are a weak unit.
Others to Consider
- Zay Jones (JAX) @KC 34.4% rostered
- Odell Beckham Jr. (FA) 19.8% rostered
- Darius Slayton (NYG) v HOU 2.3% rostered
- Phillip Dorsett (HOU) @NYG 0.9% rostered
Greg Dulcich (DEN) @TEN 34.0% rostered
Dulcich is one of a few highlights of the Denver offense. His ability to work in the middle of the field, as a big-bodied receiver, has made him a well used target for Russell Wilson, with 14 targets in his last two games. His ability to turn those targets into production too makes him an effective option in this murky TE landscape.
Cade Otton (TB) v SEA 5.1% rostered
The Tampa Bay offense isn’t hitting the same heights that it did in previous seasons, but it’s still got plenty of volume through the air. A matchup against Seattle is soft for TEs, so there is plenty to like for Otton this week before his bye week.
Others to Consider
- Noah Fant (SEA) @TB 31.8% rostered
- Cole Kmet (CHI) v DET 27.0% rostered
- Foster Moreau (LV) v IND 4.8% rostered
New Orleans Saints @PIT 45.4% rostered
The Saints defense is a nice real-life defense, which should bode them well against the Steelers offense. The issues that offense has aren’t fixed in a small window of time, and the Saints should be able to force sacks and turnover with the pressure they generate.
Denver Broncos @TEN 35.3% rostered
The Broncos defense lost part of their pass-rush but they still have an effective unit that can have an impact for fantasy. The Titans offense is built on the run, but they have been missing their starting QB Ryan Tannehill and their rookie just isn’t able to do it. A nice option if you can pick them up, with some nice matchups after that.

- Arizona Cardinals @LAR 12.4% rostered
