Week 10 is in the books, so we turn our attention to Week 11, and our Week IDP waiver wire pickups for the 2022 season. These waivers are based off of a 16-team, 6 IDP requirement.
Carlos Dunlap (KC) @LAC
Dunlap has scored over 11 points in his last 2 games with at least 4 tackles and .5 sack in each game. The Chiefs are cooking and Dunlap is being utilized as a sack specialist while keeping a decent snap count. Grab him for a match against the rival Chargers who are doing the offensive line shuffle.
Dre’Mont Jones (DEN) v LV
Jones did not have the most impressive game against the Titans. The Broncos are hosting the Raiders who have all but thrown in the towel on the season. Mile High Stadium is one of the last true remaining home field advantages.
Trey Hendrickson (CIN) @PIT
Hendrickson is coming off a bye and playing in one of the nastiest rivalries in the NFL, Bengals @ Steelers. He has 4 sacks and 2 forced fumbles on the year. The Steelers have momentum but Hendrickson should make a big play in this game.
Ju’Whuan Bentley (NE) v NYJ
Bentley is putting together a great season and has been playing all or most of the snaps the past two weeks. The Patriots are coming off the bye and playing the Jets, whose offense is struggling to find a rhythm. Bentley should have a high tackle volume, and possible big play.
Jack Sanborn (CHI) @ATL
Sanborn is a must-add. Spend the FAAB on him as he’s going to be in the lineup and knows this is his opportunity to earn a starting job for this year and beyond. Over the past 2 weeks, he has 19 tackles and 2 sacks. Get him for a strong playoff push.
JJ Watt (ARI) v SF
Watt has put together good games two out of the past three weeks. He should have had a TD from last week, but the call was blown dead. JJ shines in big games and he will be playing a division rival, the 49ers, on Monday Night Football… In Mexico City! If that isn’t a big game, I don’t know what is. Expect a minimum of one sack as JJ takes advantage of the high altitude of Mexico City.
Jonathan Owens (HOU) v WAS
Owens is proving the doubters wrong. He has a very clear role in this team and it’s to step up in the run game. Although he is targeted in the pass game, he is always flying to the football. He has the 2nd most tackles out of all DBs. Pick him up and play him as the Texans are past their bye week, and their offense has difficulty sustaining long drives.
Kenny Moore (IND) v PHI
Moore produced two great games out of the past three weeks and has only 2 games below 5 points for the season. Coach Saturday brought a new energy to the team and this will be his first home game, where the crowd will love him. Moore will likely see several passes from the Eagles as they look to redeem themselves. Pick him up and play him.
Sauce Gardner (NYJ) @NE
Gardner is coming off a bye week and was likely dropped last week. He fills the stat sheet, particularly for a corner. He earned 9.25 points the last time he played the Patriots, and there is a great chance he was schemed up in a blitz or disguised coverage to make a big play. Pick him up.
