Start’Em
Daniel Jones @DET
Jones currently sits as QB18 on the season but has been consistent for the most part due largely to a solid baseline of rushing every week. This week he gets a juicy matchup against the Lions 32nd ranked defense and is sure to skyrocket towards his ceiling. A huge boom game awaits Danny Dimes this week. Stream him anywhere you are in need.
Russell Wilson v LV
Wilson has failed to live up to the hype in his first season with the Broncos and quiet frankly this entire offense has been terrible. Russ ranks 24th among quarterbacks to this point in the season but comes face to face with division rival Las Vegas in Week 11. The Raiders are the second to last defense in the league and Wilson figures to find his mojo against them. Russ may not cook this week but he will carve up the Raiders.
Jimmy Garoppolo @ARI
Jimmy G current finds himself as QB20 on the season after taking over for the injured Trey Lance. Jimmy lacks any real ceiling or boom potential but has given managers at least 15 fantasy points in every game this season except one. Throw in a matchup with the 27th ranked Cardinals defense and Jimmy G is as safe a bye week streamer as you can find.
Sit’Em
Matt Ryan v PHI
Matt Ryan makes his second start in return after being replaced by Sam Ehlinger. After a solid week against a porous Raiders defense that we targeted above he finds himself set to square off against the top ranked Eagles defense. Add in the fact that the Eagles are coming off a tough loss to Washington that ended their unbeaten streak and Ryan figures to have a very angry and hungry defense hunting him in Week 11. Run as far away as you can!
Derek Carr v DEN
Carr currently ranks 17th at quarterback and while he has been startable this season we are going to avoid him this week. The Raiders offense is an injured mess and this week they face a brutal Broncos pass defense that figures to shut down Carr and grind this game down to the typical boring, low scoring game we’ve come to expect with Denver. Avoid Carr and save yourself from having to watch another terrible Broncos game.
Start ‘Em
Antonio Gibson @HOU
Gibson is currently RB18 and while his season has had its share of ups and downs he has been mostly flexible in your lineups. This week Gibson gets a Texans defense that can only be described as a run funnel. Opponents run early, often and with excellent results against the Texans and I expect the same result here. Look for Gibson to be a top 20 running back.
David Montgomery @ATL
David Montgomery has been unhealthy and largely disappointing for the better part of two seasons, this week however he will get the backfield to himself as Khalil Herbert has been placed on injured reserve. Montgomery also faces a Falcons defense that can’t stop anybody and ranks 27th against the run. Look for Montgomery to enjoy his new found bell cow status and explode in week 1.
Devin Singletary v CLE
Singletary has functioned as a low end RB2 for the majority of the season but this is the time of year where he kicked it into another gear and won people championships last season. Expect Singletary to run all over the bottom of the barrel Cleveland defense. At this point it is unclear if the game will be played in Buffalo but if it is he will get a bump even higher up my ranks as the run game may be the Bills’ only options.
Sit ‘Em
Alvin Kamara @LAR
Kamara has alternated huge boom weeks with terrible bust weeks this season and week 11 figures to be the latter. Alvin faces an elite run defense in the Rams and with Andy Dalton announced as the Saints starting quarterback they will likely load up the box and commit fully to shutting down the Saints most dangerous weapon. Sit him if you can.
Michael Carter v NE
Carter has seen a rollercoaster season where he was the back up to Breece Hall and then the lone starter and then in a committee with James Robinson. The exact split in this backfield remains a mystery and against a Bill Bellichick coached run defense that ranks second in the NFL Carter is someone best left on your bench wherever possible.
Start ‘Em
Darnell Mooney v ATL
You will start to notice a theme here. I’m picking on the Falcons and Lions defenses. Neither team can stop an elementary school football team. Mooney is yet another Bear who figures to explode in week 11 as he lines up against the lowly Falcons defense. The Bears offense has found it’s stride lately and this one could get ugly quick. Look for Mooney to be a top 15 wide receiver this week.
Joshua Palmer @KC
For the second week in a row Joshua Palmer finds his way into the Start section. Last week he was unable to deliver but with the status of Mike Williams and Keenan Allen still very much in doubt I am going to go right back to the well and start him as a WR2 against the 27th ranked Cardinals pass defense that hemorrhages points, averaging 38.38 points per game to opposing wide receivers.
Darius Slayton @DET
Time to pick on the Lions again. The Lions allow an average of 36.13 points per game to opposing wide receivers and Slayton has been incredibly reliable over the past month. He currently sits as WR62 but with no other reliable pass catching options and Wan Dale Robinson currently battling an injury there simply is nowhere else to go for the Giants. Look for Slayton to put up impressive numbers against the meek Lions defense.
Sit ’em
Michael Pittman @PHI
The case against Pittman is the same one as for Matt Ryan. This offense is simply bad and dysfunctional, combine that with a motivated Eagles defense and this game could see all of the starters out of the game by halftime in a blowout. Pittman isn’t unstartable but he is a flex at best and can be avoided wherever possible.
Terry McLaurin v HOU
Fresh off his best game of the year Terry finds himself in the sit column. Terry is here by no fault of his own. The motivation behind sitting Terry is the Texans run funnel defense, teams simply run with such effectiveness against them that they have no need to throw the ball with any level of production. Sit him where you have other options.
Start ‘Em
George Kittle v ARI
Kittle has not been good this season ranking as TE17, but regardless the Cardinals are just unable to stop any tight end in this league. The Cardinals average a whopping 20.86 against to opposing tight ends and make even the worst of tight ends look like Travis Kelce. Expect Kittle to have his best game of the season in week 11.
TJ Hockenson v DAL
TJ has seen his career revitalized since coming over to Minnesota from Detroit. He went from being ranked outside the top 12 every week to consistently finishing in the top 10. Hockenson seems to be Kirk Cousins’ second favorite target and his volume makes him a safe play with an elite ceiling against a Dallas defense that is below average against tight ends.
Greg Dulcich @LV
Dulcich seems to have found himself as Russell Wilson’s preferred target and the injury to Jerry Jeudy is going to help that. Once again the Raiders defense finds itself at the bottom of the ranks and is going to be targeted once again. Look for Dulcich to finish as a top 5 tight end this week as the Broncos get back in the win column.
Sit ’em
Juwan Johnson @LAR/Tyler Higbee vs NO
Let’s just avoid everyone in this game. These teams rank 1 and 2 against tight ends and both teams are a mess on offense. Both tight ends have been boom or bust and are surviving mostly on touchdown production. Avoid the tight ends….. just avoid this entire game.
Start ‘Em
Los Angeles Rams @NO
The Rams currently rank towards the bottom of the league for DST’s as they have not been good this year, the only reason we target them here is that the Saints offense is terrible. Look for Andy Dalton to commit multiple turnovers and hope that he turns back into the King of the Pick 6.
Cincinnati Bengals @PIT
Once again I find myself streaming a poorly ranked DST solely based on how terrible their opponent is. The Steelers offense is terrible and Kenny Pickett is a turnover machine. Much like the game above this one figures to be sloppy and low scoring. Start the Bengals and just enjoy the parade of turnovers.
Sit ‘Em
Los Angeles Chargers v KC
The Chargers are the 29th ranked defensive unit in the league, combine that with a matchup against the highest scoring offense in the league and they are a no brainer sit this week. The Chiefs allow opposing defenses to score an average of 3.30 points per game. Yuck, avoid!
Minnesota Vikings v DAL
The Vikings appear to be legit contenders and this looks to be a heavy weight title fight. Unfortunately for fantasy managers it projects to be an extremely high scoring title fight and I want nothing to do with either of these defenses if I can avoid them.
