Well we are getting into the middle of the 2023 season with the bye weeks to consider, so time to finetune your roster with our Week 10 Waiver Wire pickups. In this article, we’ll explore the top priority waiver wire additions and some key pickups for various positions.
Whether you need a wide receiver, tight end, running back, or quarterback, there are players available to bolster your fantasy roster. Let’s take a look at some of the recent players increasing in value.
Rules for Selection & Order Priority
For a player to be considered to be added, they have to:
- Have an rostered % of 50% or under on ESPN
- Players below are listed by their roster %, not priority. Know your league settings. If there is a high-priority add, you’ll know.
Joshua Dobbs (ARI) 21.9% rostered
Recently traded to the Vikings, Joshua Dobbs stepped up when rookie QB Jarren Hall was injured during Week 9. Dobbs has multiple weeks with a rushing touchdown and ranks as the QB11 on the season.
Derek Carr (NO) 18.5% rostered
Derek Carr has regained his form after recovering from a shoulder injury. He now offers reliable fantasy production and is a valuable low-end QB2 with potential upside, making him a valuable asset for bye weeks or in the event of injuries to top-tier quarterbacks.
Others to Consider
- Will Levis (TEN) 38.8% rostered
- Taylor Heinicke (ATL) 4.7% rostered
Antonio Gibson (WAS) 40.3% rostered
Gibson has been delivering RB3/flex-worthy numbers over the past few weeks. With increased involvement in the passing game, Gibson has shown promise as a flex option in fantasy rosters.
Tyjae Spears (TEN) 33.1% rostered
Even with Derrick Henry in play, Tyjae Spears has been involved in the Titans’ offense. Rookie quarterback Will Levis seems to be spreading the ball around, giving Spears room for increased running back production.
Zach Charbonnet (SEA) 30.0% rostered
Charbonnet’s snap percentages have started to shift in Seattle, with him taking on 55% of snaps compared to Kenneth Walker’s 49% in Week 8. Charbonnet’s role in the Seahawks’ offense appears to be growing, and he could offer valuable upside, especially if Walker was to miss any time.
Others to Consider
- Kenneth Gainwell (PHI) 18.4% rostered
- Keaton Mitchell (BAL) 1.0% rostered
Demario Douglas (NE) 21.9% rostered
Following Kendrick Bourne’s season-ending injury, rookie Demario Douglas has stepped into a more significant role in the Patriots’ offense. In Week 9, he saw 83% of the snaps and showcased efficiency with 7 targets and 5 receptions. Douglas could be a valuable addition to your team, especially for upcoming bye weeks.
Zay Jones (JAX) 21.6% rostered
After dealing with injuries and a bye week, Zay Jones could be a hidden gem in the Jaguars’ receiving corps. With the potential to become a late-season winner, Jones is worth consideration if you have a spare bench spot.
Wan’Dale Robinson (NYG) 6.2% rostered
The absence of Darren Waller for four games due to injury opens the door for Wan’Dale Robinson to take on an increased workload. However, keep in mind that the Giants are without Daniel Jones for the remainder of the season, making Robinson a more speculative flex play.
Others to Consider
- Khalil Shakir (BUF) 3.7% rostered
- Jamison Crowder (WAS) 0.9% rostered
- Noah Brown (HOU) 0.9% rostered
Trey McBride (ARI) 43.6% rostered
With Zach Ertz sidelined due to injury until at least Week 12, second-round tight end Trey McBride is poised for a substantial increase in workload. McBride has a favorable upcoming schedule, including matchups against Atlanta, Houston, and the Rams. With Kyler Murray’s return, he’s expected to see a significant number of targets.
Taysom Hill (NO) 39.7% rostered
Hill, a versatile player, operates as a tight end, pocket passer, rusher, and route-runner. His involvement in the Saints’ offense has been on the rise, especially with injuries affecting Juwan Johnson. Hill offers a unique package that can benefit fantasy teams.
Cade Otton (TB) 7.8% rostered
Otton played every snap in Week 9 and was targeted nine times, resulting in two receiving touchdowns. His exceptional utilization as a tight end makes him an intriguing option for fantasy managers.
Others to Consider
- Luke Musgrave (GB) 17.2% rostered
- Juwan Johnson (NO) 9.1% rostered
