2023 Week 16 IDP Help

Welcome to another exciting week of NFL action from the 2023 season, and my attempts to help you make crucial decisions for your IDP lineup for Week 16. Nobody ever said it was going to easy, they only said it will be worth it and with that being said, I have picked out three players for Sunday’s game that can help you to the promise land. Rayshawn Jenkins, Alex Singleton, and Kayvon Thibodeaux have the recent performance records to make a significant impact on your fantasy team. Keep an eye on these players as they aim to deliver stellar performances against their respective opponents, and don’t be surprised if they help carry your team to victory in the crucial playoff week.

Kayvon Thibodeaux (DL, NYG)

Week 15 Stats: 1 tackle.

Week 16 Projection: 3 tackles, 1.5 TFL & 0.5 sacks

Thibodeaux and the Giants play the Eagles in Week 16. The Eagles have a strong offensive line, but Thibodeaux’s agility and ability to get into the backfield should still provide opportunities for tackles and sacks. Thibodeaux’s explosiveness off the line of scrimmage makes him a constant threat in the trenches. He has the agility to evade blockers and disrupt plays, which will be crucial against a run-heavy team like the Eagles. Expect him to continue putting pressure on the quarterback and making plays behind the line of scrimmage.

Alex Singleton (LB, DEN)

Week 15 Stats: 5 tackles

Week 16 Projection: 8 tackles, 1 PD, 1 TFL & 1 FF

In Week 16, Singleton and the Broncos take on the New England Patriots, who have been running the ball somewhat effectively in recent weeks. This could mean more tackle opportunities for Singleton as he tries to stifle the Patriots’ ground game. He should continue to pile up tackles, and with his demonstrated ability to generate turnovers, he might even force a fumble against the Pats.

Rayshawn Jenkins (DB, JAX)

Week 15 Stats: 6 tackles & 1 INT

Week 14 Projection: 6 tackles & 3 PDs.

This week, the Falcons play the Bucs and the opportunistic ways of Baker Mayfield. Ritchie’s ball-hawking skills will be put to the test, but he has a favorable matchup against a Buccaneers team that has allowed the 4th most interceptions this season. He’s a player who excels in reading the quarterback’s eyes and jumping routes. He’s agile and quick, making him effective in man-to-man coverage situations. Ritchie is not just a coverage specialist; he’s also active in run support, displaying a willingness to tackle and disrupt opposing offenses in the open field.

The data-driven projections suggest they’ll have their moments of IDP glory, whether it’s through interceptions, tackles, sacks, or forced fumbles. Keep a close eye on these players and may your Week 16 be filled with IDP stats! If you would like to see more of our rankings and projections you can check out our articles here.
