2023 Week 6 IDP Help

Welcome to another exciting week of NFL action from the 2023 season, and my attempts to help you make crucial decisions for your IDP lineup for Week 6. In Week 6 of the NFL , the battle versus the fantasy gods is becoming more real. To help you make informed decisions, I’ll provide an analysis of three sleepers that may be on your IDP waiver wire: DB Myles Bryant – Patriots, LB Germaine Pratt – Bengals, and DL Andrew Van Gunkel – Dolphins. Bryant, Pratt, and Van Gunkel possess the potential to be game changers for your fantasy team. Based on their Week 5 performances and my Week 6 projections, these defensive sleepers are ready to continue their success. Keep a close watch on them as you set your Week 6 IDP lineup.

Andrew Van Ginkel (DL, MIA) v CAR

Week 5 Stats: 4 tackles, 1 assists, 1 sack.

Week 6 Projection: 5 tackles, 2 assists, 1 sack.

Andrew Van Ginkel certainly made his presence known with in Week 5, he was all over the field. Going up against the Panthers in Week 6, I have projected stats that somewhat replicates last week’s performance. Van Ginkel has an endless motor, so I projected him to increase his tackle count. While his snap count is modest compared to other DLs, Van Ginkel’s efficiency will land him on the field at a higher rate moving forward and makes him an intriguing IDP option. He’ll have the opportunity to exploit the Panthers’ offensive line and put pressure on the opposing quarterback.

Germaine Pratt (LB, CIN) v SEA

Week 5 Stats: 9 tackles, 3 assists, 1 sack & 1 PD.

Week 6 Projection: 10 tackles, 4 assists, 1.5 sacks & 1 PD.

Pratt’s Week 5 performance showcased his prowess as a tackling machine. Facing the Seahawks in Week 6, Pratt’s projected stats illustrate his ability to continue his high-impact play. I am expecting Pratt to maintain a high tackle count with a slight increase in assists. He already posts an impressive snap count percentage; his reliability is the heart of the Bengals’ defense and makes him a key IDP asset. He’ll make his presence felt against the Seahawks’ offense, which offers plenty of opportunities for tackles and sacks.

Myles Bryant (DB, NE) @LV

Week 5 Stats: 6 tackles, 1 assists, & 2 PDs.

Week 6 Projection: 7 tackles, 2 assists, 0.5 sacks, 1 INT & 1 PD.

Bryant showcased his potential in Week 5, and against the Raiders, he’s set for another strong showing. Bryant’s projected stats reflect his ability to thrive in coverage. Expect an increase in tackles with an emphasis on limiting yards after the catch. I am projecting Bryant grab his first interception of the season, taking advantage of the Raiders’ passing game. Additionally, his snap count continues to rise, growing trust from the coaching staff.
