2023 Week 7 IDP Help

Welcome to another exciting week of NFL action from the 2023 season, and my attempts to help you make crucial decisions for your IDP lineup for Week 7. If your season hasn’t gone exactly how you would like it, the time is now to make the necessary changes to turn your season around. This week, I’ll look deep into the crystal ball to find players that can shake things up in your lineup: DB Rudy Ford of the Packers, LB Terrel Bernard of the Bills, and DL Nik Bonitto of the Broncos.

Nik Bonitto (DL, DEN) v GB

Week 6 Stats: 2 tackles, 1 sack.

Week 7 Projection: 4 tackles, 2 sacks.

Bonitto, the Broncos’ defensive end, produced a sack in Week 6, and he’s just getting started. In Week 7, the Packers will be in his crosshairs, and this match-up is exploding with potential. The Packers’ offensive line has shown some chinks in their armor, allowing 12 sacks through six games. Bonitto, with his speed and pass-rushing ability, is primed to exploit these weaknesses. A couple of sacks and some tackles are well within his magical repertoire this week.

Terrel Bernard (LB, BUF) @NE

Week 6 Stats: 12 tackles, 1 sack.

Week 7 Projection: 11 tackles, 1 sack & 1 FF.

Terrel Bernard, the fearless LB of the Buffalo Bills, had a monstrous Week 6 with 12 total tackles and a sack. His relentless pursuit is rivaling Mr. Crosby, and he’s ready to face a vulnerable Patriots team in Week 7. The Patriots’ offense relies heavily on the ground game, but that plays right into Bernard’s hands. A tackling machine, he’s poised to cause havoc on the rushing game and will have many opportunities for a forced fumble. Expect Bernard to be a fantasy treasure as he continues his production against the Patriots.

Rudy Ford (DB, GB) @DEN

Week 6 Stats: 8 tackles, 1 INT.

Week 7 Projection: 7 tackles, 1 INT & 1 PD.

Ford is like a sly rogue in your fantasy roster, always ready to pounce on the opportunity. In Week 6, he showcased his thieving skills with an interception against the Cincinnati Bengals. This week, he faces the Denver Broncos and MR. Wilson. The Broncos’ offense has shown a vulnerability to turnovers and inefficiencies this season. In their past three games, they’ve coughed up the ball a total of 6 times. With Ford’s ball-hawking ability and a pass-happy Broncos offense, expect him to be in the right place at the right time, adding to his interception tally.

The data-driven projections suggest they’ll have their moments of IDP glory, whether it’s through interceptions, tackles, sacks, or forced fumbles. Keep a close eye on these players and may your Week 7 be filled with IDP stats! If you would like to see more of our rankings and projections you can check out our articles here.
