2023 Week 9 IDP Help

Welcome to another exciting week of NFL action from the 2023 season, and my attempts to help you make crucial decisions for your IDP lineup for Week 8. In Week 8, I have three IDP options to consider: Kamren Curl – Commanders, Blake Cashman – Texans, and Carl Granderson – Saints. Week 8 presents an exciting opportunity for IDP managers to capitalize on these three players’ talents. all have the potential to shine in Week 8. Keep an eye on these IDP studs as they aim to make a significant impact in your lineup. I’ll dive into their Week 7 performances, project their Week 8 stats, and discuss how they can succeed this week.

Michael Danna (DL, KC) v MIA

Week 8 Stats: 4 tackles, 2 sacks, 1 FF.

Week 9 Projection: 5 tackles, 1 sack & 1 PD.

Danna had a stellar Week 8, with two sacks and a forced fumble. He created turnovers and havoc all over the field, endless motor. In Week 9, the Chiefs play the Dolphins, who have struggled with pass protection at times this year. Danna’s ability to generate pressure on the quarterback will be crucial in disrupting the Tau and Dolphins’ passing game. Hopefully, he doesn’t have jet lag.

Quay Walker (LB, GB) v LAR

Week 8 Stats: 9 tackles, 1 sack & 1 PD.

Week 9 Projection: 10 tackles, 1 sack & 1 PD.

Walker had a standout Week 8, recording nine tackles and a sack. I love the ability to disrupt plays in both the run and pass game. In Week 9, the Packers play the Rams, who have health questions heading into this game. However, Walker’s tackling ability and pass-rushing skills will be crucial in containing their attack so, expect him to rack up tackles and add another sack to his stat line.

Julian Blackmon (DB, IND) @CAR

Week 8 Stats: 5 tackles, 1 INT & 3 PDs.

Week 9 Projection: 6 tackles, 1 INT & 2 PDs.

Blackmon had a solid Week 8, showcasing his playmaking abilities with an interception and three passes defended. His ability to make key stops in the secondary makes him a valuable asset for fantasy managers. In Week 9, Blackmon and the Colts play the Panthers. The Panthers have an offense that has shown a tendency to sustain drives, creating opportunities. Blackmon will have opportunities to add to his interception tally and continue his strong performance in pass coverage.

The data-driven projections suggest they’ll have their moments of IDP glory, whether it’s through interceptions, tackles, sacks, or forced fumbles. Keep a close eye on these players and may your Week 9 be filled with IDP stats! If you would like to see more of our rankings and projections you can check out our articles here.
