DraftKings MNF Showdown 2022 – Los Angeles @San Francisco

We are here to cover the 2022 DraftKings showdown slate for Monday Night Football Week 4, Los Angeles @San Francisco. The Rams travel north to face the 49ers, and Vegas has the O/U set to 42.5. In this fair weather matchup against these two NFC West Rivals, San Francisco is favored to win by 1.5.

DraftKings MNF Showdown 2022 – Los Angeles @San Francisco Captain Picks

Cooper Kupp ($18,000 Capt/ $12,000 Flex)

He has continued his success from last season. Even with the addition of Allen Robinson Kupp has managed to remain the clear number one.  In his last game, he had 4 catches, 44 receiving yards, 20 rushing yards, and a rushing touchdown. I expect Matthew Stafford to rely on Kupp throughout our Monday Night Football.

Brandon Aiyuk ($11,400 Capt/ $7,600 Flex)

Aiyuk is a nice consideration for captain if you want to move away from Kupp. The Rams defense is going to need to focus on stopping Deebo Samuel, which should give Aiyuk a bit more space. Aiyuk has a nice aDOT, and is likely going to be used on deeper routes as a result- perfect for GPPs.

DraftKings MNF Showdown 2022 – Los Angeles @San Francisco Flex Picks

Deebo Samuel ($10,400 Flex)

Samuel in his last game kept finding ways to get open. He caught 5 of his 8 targets for 73  yards and rushed 5 times. The offense will be better and they will need to put up points to keep up with the rams. I think Samuel should benefit from this and expect an uptick in fantasy points.

Matthew Stafford ($10,600 Flex)

Stafford is a nice option if you didn’t go for Kupp at captain. The Rams offense might be forced to look elsewhere during the game if the 49ers just look to eliminate Kupp. As a result, selecting Stafford gives you every part of the Rams offense which should be firing in this one.

Jimmy Garoppolo ($10,000 Flex)

Jimmy Garoppolo had a terrible outing last time he played. He looked rusty and turned the ball over too many times. I expect him and this offense to improve as everyone is healthy. They’ve had more time to develop and grow chemistry so I think the passing offense will look better.

George Kittle  ($6,600 Flex)

49ers are without their left tackle Trent Williams so lots of pressure will be brought to Garoppolo. With Aaron Donald wreaking havoc, I doubt Garoppolo will have time to throw long deep balls. He will be forced to get it to his TEs and slot WRs. With the tough defense line, I expect George Kittle to be heavily used if this game is close and Niners want to win.

Ben Skowronek ($4,400)

The place to attack this defense is at the slot, which is where Skowronek is going to lineup in this offense. As an easy option over the middle if the pass rush gets the upper hand, he could be great in DK’s PPR scoring.

Brandon Powell ($3,000 Flex)

Powell recently signed with the Rams and caught all of his targets. He is low owned and if he can find the end zone, you’ll be able to separate yourself from the crowd and take down a GPP.

Jauan Jennings ($2,000 Flex)

The 49ers’ new passing attack will need to thrive against the Rams if they want to win. Last week, Jennings was the 49ers leading receiver. This could happen again as the other SF pass catchers attract better pass coverage.

DraftKings MNF Showdown 2022 – Los Angeles @San Francisco Kickers and DSTs

Grabbing either team’s defense could pay off. The Rams DST $4,200 and the 49ers DST $3,600 are both good defenses and can generate turnovers. Depending on how you construct your lineup, try to correlate one of the defenses with players from the same team. Stafford has shown he can turn the ball over, while Jimmy G standing in the pocket is going to be an easy target for Aaron Donald and company.

Matt Gay $3,800 and Robbie Gould $4,000, are viable to use to round out your lineups. Both defenses are effective, so could force some drives to stall out with FG attempts instead of scores.
