Currently, the Raiders are the only team (along with Arizona) who are undefeated in the league. DraftKings Showdown 2021- Las Vegas @Los Angeles Captain Picks

Justin Herbert ($16,800/ $11,200)

Herbert has followed up his impressive rookie performance with a good start to the 2021 season. So far this season, he has thrown for 956 yards, six TDs, and 3 INTs. A lot of that came in the last matchup against the Chiefs, but Las Vegas is a more difficult defense (surprisingly). However, the way this offense works with the relationship that he has managed with his receivers Keenan Allen and Mike Williams.

Austin Ekeler ($14,400/ $9,600)

Ekeler is the do-it-all back for the team. In selecting Ekeler, you are getting a player who is virtually game-script proof. Ekeler dominates the backfield touches, with more than twice the touches of the player in second spot on the team. He is also used out of the backfield as one of the team’s main receiving options. However, he is now vying for third-choice weapon on the offense with Mike Williams much improved this season.

Darren Waller ($13,800/ $9,200)

Waller is the offense for the Raiders. He has a massive target share in the offense, with 33 targets this season already. Given his massive target share, receptions and yards, he should have more TDs on the season that the single score he got in Week 1. Waller should have an opportunity to do that against a Los Angeles defense that has struggled at times.

DraftKings Showdown 2021- Las Vegas @Los Angeles Flex Picks

Derek Carr ($10,800)

Carr has been a pleasant surprise this season, leading Las Vegas to be 3-0 this season. He has looked calm and composed in the pocket, with just over 1,200 yards, 6 TDs and 2 INTs this season. This game is likely to be a high-scoring affair, which will need Carr to keep the team in it through the air.

Mike Williams ($10,200)

Williams has been fantastic this season, finally putting a string of performances that showcase the ability he has shown in flashes in his career. The reason looks to be that he is being used with more versatility than just vertical routes. Williams is behind Keenan Allen in targets, but is ahead in receptions, yards and scores.

Keenan Allen ($8,800)

Allen is a target hog, but has seen that grasp slip slightly this season with the emergence of Williams in the offense. Allen is always a good target for slates, given the heavy targets that he gets in the offense. In lineups that I can’t fit in the lightning of Williams, I’ll go with the thunder of Allen.

Peyton Barber ($6,800)

Josh Jacobs is a game-time decision, so this could end up being a mute point if he is good to go and gets a meaningful workload. If Jacobs does play, don’t put Jacobs in your lineup, the rotation isn’t going to allow for either to have a good fantasy performance.

Hunter Renfrow ($5,800)

Renfrow has been a reliable target for Derek Carr, especially on “third and Renfrow”. But Renfrow hasn’t just been helping the team out on third-downs, he has been a steady hand throughout the games. He has had 22 targets for 16 receptions and 204 yards, with a single score. For the price, you are getting a good shot at a player that will get a decent target share.

Kenyan Drake ($5,400)

If you are in the UK, or don’t want to look at the status of Josh Jacobs for the week, then go for Drake. The role Drake has isn’t going to change, regardless of who takes the early-down work. Drake has has a reliable target share, with some carries mixed in. I wouldn’t make a build with a combo of the Raiders RBs, but if you are getting an early night- Drake is the more reliable, especially with the PPR scoring on DraftKings.

DraftKings Showdown 2021 Las Vegas @Los Angeles- Defences and Kickers

The game is projected to be high-scoring, so it’s tough to really trust either defense in my lineup. Los Angeles ($3,200) are the more expensive of the two, despite Las Vegas ($2,800) looking the more consistent between the two this season. With it being high-scoring, it’s worth mixing in kickers in your lineups if you want to save some money. I’d prefer Daniel Carlson ($3,800) over Tristan Vizcaino ($4,000), with Carlson showing his ability to convert from long-distance.
