Without the concussions to Tua Tagovailoa last season, he very well might have led them on a deep playoff run. He was one of the best quarterbacks in the league when healthy and they just barely lost to the Bills without him. Barring another issue with the concussions this season, I fully expect the Dolphins to be deep playoff contenders behind Tua, Waddle, Hill, and Head Coach Mike McDaniel.

Draft Recap
Miami had limited draft picks this year, partly thanks to the collusion issues they faced causing them to forfeit their first-round pick. But in the third round, they get the track star and stand out at Texas A&M running back De’Von Achane. Their next pick wasn’t until the sixth when they took the big-bodied wide receiver, Elijah Higgins, who has already transitioned to tight end.
Positional Previews
Notable Players- Tua Tagovailoa, Mike White, Skylar Thompson
Tua Tagovailoa was a top-10 quarterback in fantasy points per game (minimum 10 games played). He’s a stud when healthy, and we shouldn’t bet on injuries with how flukey they can be. But if he were to miss time, Mike White showed he’s a capable backup when he was playing for the Jets. Skylar is purely for depth purposes.
Notable Players- De’Von Achane, Raheem Mostert, Jeff Wilson
De’Von Achane obviously has massive upside in this outside zone scheme that will allow him to utilize his speed to its full potential. The scheme fits his running style perfectly and I trust McDaniel to put him in favorable positions with probably limited touches due to his size. He has potential RB1 upside, but more than likely a RB2. Both Jeff Wilson and Raheem Mostert are in the later stages of their career and both have had injury histories in recent seasons.
Notable Players- Jaylen Waddle, Tyreek Hill, Braxton Berrios, Cedrick Wilson
This offense is going to run through Waddle and Hill. I expect both players to be over the 25% market share mark and dominate the receiving production in this offense. They should both be WR1s this season, and Waddle is a clear-cut top-tier Dynasty asset at the wide receiver position. Cedrick Wilson and Braxton Berrios are probably going to compete for who starts in 3-wide sets, but without injury to either Waddle or Hill, neither will get the targets to be consistently fantasy viable.
Notable Players- Durham Smythe, Eric Saubert, Elijah Higgins
Both Smythe and Saubert are more blocking tight ends than receiving tight ends. Elijah Higgins provides some intrigue as he’s a wide receiver that has transitioned to tight end. But even Gesicki was barely fantasy-viable last season. I wouldn’t bank on any tight end out of this group being fantasy relevant any time soon for this offense.
