Draft Recap

The Saints attacked the defensive line early in the draft, but they built some depth on offense in the later rounds. Kendre Miller, in the third, is an insurance and potentially future plan to be Alvin Kamara’s replacement. Nick Saldiveri at guard brings some needed offensive line depth. In the fourth, Jake Haener out of Fresno State was an interesting selection with both Winston and Carr on the roster. But A.T. Perry out of Wake Forest is a big speed threat with a productive college career that could make a name for himself in the future.
