The Steelers’ post-Ben Roethlisberger rebuild is really coming together nicely this upcoming season. They have a potential face of the franchise quarterback, a loaded wide receiver room as always, a bell cow running back, and their offensive line continues to take strides. The defense is always reliable. If Pickett can make a big year two step forward, the Steelers are knocking on the door of becoming real contenders.

Draft Recap

The Steelers continued to bolster their offensive line in the first round with offensive tackle, Broderick Jones and then also adding Spencer Anderson in the seventh round. You could also argue, the addition of Darnell Washington in the third round was an effort to improve their blocking along the lines of scrimmage. Darnell Washington can immediately be deployed as basically a sixth offensive lineman with his size and physicality despite his position designation of tight end.
