Notable Players- Brock Purdy, Trey Lance, Sam Darnold

Right now, the San Francisco 49ers are moving forward with Purdy as their starter as rumors swirl that they are trying to move Trey Lance for future draft capital. But no one has bitten on taking Lance, so until that happens, the former top 5 NFL Draft pick is waiting in the wings for his opportunity. Additionally, there is Sam Darnold, who appears to be solely a backup and injury contingency plan. Whoever takes snaps under center in this offense though, will, at worst, put up serviceable numbers with the elite supporting cast in Kyle Shanahan’s offense.

Notable Players- Christian McCaffrey, Elijah Mitchell, Jordan Mason, Tyrion Davis-Price

McCaffrey is just that guy. As long as he’s healthy, pencil him in for 20+ points each week for your fantasy team. Elijah Mitchell is interesting as he has shown to be a significant fantasy producer when given the volume. Even with McCaffrey, Mitchell got some rushing volume and red zone work, but that’s not something managers should rely on. Mitchell is a top-tier handcuff to roster.

We’ve seen an injury history with both CMC and Mitchell, so Mason and Davis-Price are interesting names to roster in deep Dynasty formats. We’ve seen Shanahan create monster fantasy producers from extremely average running backs before, so keep an eye on these two during Redraft season.

Notable Players- Deebo Samuel, Brandon Aiyuk, Jauan Jennings, Danny Gray

We’ve watched Brandon Aiyuk slowly improve year over year since he entered the league. He’s considered one of the more talented receivers in the league at this point and a very exciting compliment to Deebo Samuel’s unique skill set. He’s also been a fill-in alpha wide receiver in this offense multiple times as Deebo has struggled to stay healthy over the course of his career.

Speaking of Deebo, we know what he is. He’s an elite fantasy option with dual-threat abilities on the field but has struggled to stay healthy consistently. Injury prone isn’t a real thing, but that injury risk is obviously baked into Deebo’s ADP along with the emergence of Aiyuk. When all three of Deebo, Aiyuk, and Kittle are healthy, it can be hard to predict who is going to have the big game. But all three are top-tier to elite players at their positions.

Notable Players- George Kittle, Cameron Latu

Once again, we know what George Kittle is for fantasy. He’s a top 3 fantasy tight end when he’s on the field. But, like Deebo Samuel, Kittle has had trouble consistently staying healthy over the years. He’s also going to be turning 30 this season, coming to the later stages of his career, which is something to keep an eye on if you aren’t a contender in Dynasty leagues. Regarding his health, Cameron Latu is an interesting tight-end handcuff in this offense. At Alabama, Latu showed to be a capable receiving threat that could create some explosive plays. But for Redraft, he should just be on watch lists.
