Notable Players- Baker Mayfield, Kyle Trask

Baker is the vet in this room while Trask is the third-year player with 9 NFL passes under his belt in just one game played. But, in all honesty, does it really matter? In Dynasty Superflex leagues, they should both be rostered for those potential bye-week fill-ins. And for the off chance, one of these two gains some long term value. But, realistically, the future Tampa Bay quarterback isn’t on the team today.

Notable Players- Rachaad White, Chase Edmonds, Sean Tucker

Rachaad White is finally out of the shadow of Leonard Fournette. But on the flip side, Tom Brady is gone, and won’t pepper him with the same target volume out of the backfield. Still, what White did through the passing game last season was impressive. While he’ll more than likely be part of a much lesser offense than last year, he’s still a very talented player. He should be viewed as an RB2 this season with some future upside in Dynasty leagues.

Edmonds and Tucker are two interesting players. We’ve seen Edmonds have flashes and I expect him to be the primary backup with a small standalone role. But Tucker is an interesting one as he only fell in the draft due to some medical concerns, not his talent. I expect him to stick around on the roster and contend for the RB2 role in this offense. A fun Dynasty stash, but just a watchlist player in Redraft.

Notable Players- Mike Evans, Chris Godwin, Russell Gage, Trey Palmer, Rakim Jarrett

Mr. 1,000 receiving yards might have that title put in jeopardy this season with either Trask or Mayfield throwing Mike Evans the ball. While Evans and Godwin are probably one of the better-receiving duos in the league, the quarterback play is limiting for fantasy purposes. They both should be considered volatile WR2s with WR1 weeks in their range of outcomes, but also weeks where they completely disappear. 

Gage shouldn’t be considered without injuries in front of him on the depth chart. He’ll start as the slot receiver, but I wouldn’t trust the third or fourth option on this offense. The same goes for Trey Palmer and Rakim Jarrett for season-long leagues. In Dynasty leagues, they are both intriguing young talents that can sit on a taxi squad for a year.

Notable Players- Cade Otton, Payne Durham

Otton had a really impressive rookie season, mainly driven by the excessive pass volume in the Tom Brady led system. That is likely to regress, but that shouldn’t discount what Otton accomplished last season. He is a dirt-cheap Dynasty asset right now and a great player to stash and hold out until this offense gets their quarterback of the future.

Payne Durham is probably just a blocking tight end that will get a few catches here and there. I don’t think he’s an interesting fantasy asset for either Redraft or Dynasty leagues.
