Jalen Hurts v NO (£6,400)
The Saints have been cooking on offense, so the Eagles are going to need to put on a performance if they are going to get their season back on track after suffering a loss to the Falcons this past week. Hurts, playing at home, should be one of the higher scorers of the week at the position.
Derek Carr @PHI (£6,000)
Carr joined an elite group when he won last week, equalling some historic offense in consecutive winning margins. The Eagles secondary were a unit that you could pick on last season, and this offense is absolutely cooking. Who would have thought it!? Just know that Taysom Hill is always ready to blow up- but Carr looks very comfortable at the moment.
Justin Fields @LAC(£4,200)
If you need a pay down option this week, Fields is a decent option. His rushing ability gives him a decent floor week-to-week, and has also shown he is fine to air the ball out too. The Chargers defense have been solid to start the season, but equally they haven’t been overly tested. At this price, it leaves a lot over to use elsewhere.
Also consider Brock Purdy v LAR (£5,600), Gardner Minshew @CAR (£5,000) & Malik Willis v TEN (£4,600)
De’Von Achane v SEA (£6,600)
Achane feels like he is about ready to go to the moon. Should see a bump in touches with the Dolphins (likely) needing to scale back the playbook for this week at least. Mike McDaniel is able to get playmakers the ball, this game looks set to be a good one for Achane.
Jordan Mason v LAR (£5,800)
Fantasy Football doesn’t have to be hard sometimes. Until CMC returns, Mason is going to be a full-go out of this backfield- regardless of opponent. Gets a lot of volume out of the backfield of one of the better offenses in the league. If he is priced at sub-£6k, it’s going to be a click and move on.
Zamir White @CAR (£3,800)
White feels like a nice under the radar play. He has been getting the volume out of the backfield, but it’s been Alexander Mattison who has appeared on Redzone. Against this Panthers defense, White has a good chance to convert volume into production.
Also consider Jahmyr Gibbs v ARI (£6,000), D’Andre Swift v IND (£4,200) & Rico Dowdle @BAL (£3,000)
Brandon Aiyuk v LAR (£5,000)
Aiyuk should see a bump in workload in the 49ers, with CMC on IR and Deebo Samuel also set to miss some time. He is almost the last man standing of the pillars of this offense. Going to be a popular play for this week though, given the circumstances.
Diontae Johnson v LV (£4,000)
Johnson surely (with the change at QB) is going to see some improvement for fantasy. Andy Dalton is set to start at QB, which should bring some stability to the offense. The ability of Johnson to get free should mean that Dalton looks his way regularly
Jordan Whittington v SF (£2,200)
Whittington had some buzz this offseason, and now due to injuries ahead of him, he is going to be given his opportunity to play. The matchup isn’t great, but the price tag means that he doesn’t need to do much at all to hit value here.
Also consider Michael Pittman Jr. @CHI (£4,400), Jaxon Smith-Njigba @MIA (£4,200) & Jahan Dotson v NO (£2,200)
Brock Bowers @CAR (£4,400)
The rookie TE leads the team in receptions. with 15 on the season for 156 yards. A matchup against the Panthers might not end up being one that is going to need the Raiders to air it out. But, if Andy Dalton is able to get the offense moving and make this a contest, the Bowers should see a number of targets here.
George Kittle v LAR (£4,200)
Kittle is always able to blow up on any given slate, but in a divisional matchup with Samuel set to be on the sidelines? Not a bad play at all. You could choose to stack him with other 49ers pieces in what should be an offensive display for both teams.
Also consider Mark Andrews v DAL (£3,400) & Jonnu Smith v SEA (£2,200)
