Jalen Hurts v JAX (£6,400)
Hurts maybe just needed that bye week. Since then, the tush push has been back on the menu and he has also been looking comfortable in the pocket. He hasn’t seen a huge amount of yardage on the ground outside of the game against the Falcons, but he should be able to carve up this Jaguars defense.
Kirk Cousins v DAL (£6,000)
Cousins has been looking comfortable in this offense, and things shouldn’t really change this week against the Cowboys. Their secondary hasn’t been able to be as aggressive as it has in previous seasons, and Cousins has the weapons needed to find the gaps through the air.
Jameis Winston v LAC (£4,600)
Finally! I’m kinda here for the old Winston slinging it from the pocket. The NFL doesn’t really seem to have an absolute gunslinger at the moment, and I’ve got plenty of memories of Winston being that in Tampa Bay. He has kept that alive in his first start of the season, with 334 yards and 3 TDs
Also consider Bo Nix @BAL (£6,200) & Matthew Stafford @SEA (£4,800)
Alvin Kamara @CAR (£6,800)
In a world of unknowns, there is one that seems to hold true. You can run on the Panthers this season. Their defense has struggled to limit production on the ground this season, and Kamara should be able to produce here.
Kenneth Walker III v LAR (£6,800)
Walker has been a key part of the Seahawks offense this season, with 315 yards and 6 scores on the ground along with his work in the receiving game too. The Rams aren’t an obvious matchup to exploit, which should limit his ownership. But, playing at home in a divisional matchup, he has some appeal here.
Tyrone Tracy Jr. v WAS (£3,600)
Has Tracy pulled on Devin Singletary what Singletary did last year in Houston? It seems as though Tracy has firmly established himself as the volume back in this offense, with double digit carries in three of his last 4 games. There aren’t many areas of this offense that work well, but Tracy seems to be one of them. A nice pay down option on the slate.
Also consider Tony Pollard v NE (£5,200), Chase Brown v LV (£4,400), Alexander Mattison @CIN (£3,800) & Jonathan Brooks v NO (£2,200) CHECK INJURY REPORTS
Darnell Mooney v DAL (£5,200)
Turns out all that Mooney needed to hit the highs of his 2021 season was to change teams and have Kirk Cousins throw him the ball. Working opposite Drake London, Mooney has been taking huge advantage of getting secondary coverage. Against a Cowboys secondary that has been struggling a little at times this season, he is a decent option on the slate.
Courtland Sutton @BAL (£4,200)
Sutton had his best game of the season against the Panthers, catching 8 of 11 targets for 100 yards. The Ravens secondary have been getting carved up all season, so it’s a nice matchup to target.
Elijah Moore v LAC (£3,000)
The Browns passing offense looked a lot better with Winston throwing the ball. Cedric Tillman grabbed the headlines, just one-yard shy of 100 and 2 TDs. But, it was Moore that lead the team in targets and receptions. The Chargers second have been a tough team to pass on, but Winston’s history as a gunslinger, and the pricing makes Moore an interesting option.
Also consider DeVonta Smith v JAX (£5,600), Jayden Reed v DET (£5,000), Calvin Ridley v NE (£4,400) & Adam Thielen v NO (£2,200)
David Njoku v LAC (£4,600)
Njoku has struggled with injury and poor QB play, but he looks like he has turned a corner now. In the last two weeks, he has had 21 targets- catching 15 of them for 137 yards and 2 TDs. The Chargers defense have also allowed an average of 12.2 Points to the position this season. An expensive play on the slate, but with Winston now throwing the ball, he could pay off.
Evan Engram @PHI (£4,000)
Christian Kirk- OUT, Brian Thomas Jr.- OUT. So, that should mean a bit of a bump for Engram in his target share as a safety blanket for Trevor Lawrence. The Eagles have been a good unit against the position this season, so it’s not an obvious smash at the price. But, there should be volume here.
Noah Fant v LAR (£2,800)
Fant didn’t have a great outing last week against Buffalo, only managing 3 receptions for 22 yards. But in the two games before that he had totaled 10 targets, catching them all, for 128 yards. The Rams have really struggled to defend the TE position this season, so if you need a pay down option, he could be it.
Also consider Zach Ertz @NYG (£3,000), Juwan Johnson @CAR (£2,600) & Colby Parkinson @SEA (£2,200)
