Week 5 is in the books, so let’s review the IDP plays we recommended last week. Points are based on the #FF7s charity league tournament that I run.
Week 5 Review
R. Gary GB- 4.5 Points. 3 Tackles
M. Garrett CLE- 3 Points. 2 Tackles
J. Simmons TEN– 21 Points. 5 Tackles, 1.5 Sacks, 1 Pass Def, 3 QB Hits
M. Jack PIT- 7.5 Points. 6 Tackles
CJ Mosley NYJ – 15.75 Points. 10 Tackles
D. Deablo LV – 15 Points. 10 Tackles
E. Jackson CHI – 12.75 Points. 9 Tackles
J. Pitre HOU – 12 Points. 9 Tackles
D. Elliott DET – 33 Points. 12 Tackles, 3 Tackles for Loss, 1 INT, 1 Pass defended
Grade: B+ There were massive correct projections in the PLAY category for each position. A bit of a miss at DL with 2 marquee players only garnishing 7.5 points and 5 tackles between them. D. Elliott was likely available in over 90% of all IDP leagues, and week 5 was no fluke go grab him if available. J. Simmons took advantage of a poor offensive line as we projected, and CJ Mosley is rock steady with only 1 week below 10 tackles. That is Ace my friends. If you played Any LB or DB you are going to be pleased to stoked. The tackle volume is the baseline for point projections and all but one LB/DB had 9 or more tackles. Impressive to say the least.
