Calvin Ridley Signs With Titans - Fantasy Impact

After being released by the Chargers, due to salary cap issues, he set up a tour of WR-needy teams. He only managed to get his first visit completed signing a one-year deal with the Jets.

The Jets offense really struggled last year, after Aaron Rodgers ended his season are five minutes into the season. That left the Jets with Garrett Wilson trying to make plays as the only reliable receiver after Allen Lazard struggled all season. Adding Williams on a one-year deal makes perfect sense for a team with a small window to contend.

Williams should be able to put up decent WR3 numbers if he is healthy. If he strikes up an immediate chemistry with Rodgers, he could be a nice sleeper selection for redraft leagues.

For dynasty, this doesn’t do anything for his value. A one-year deal puts him in the shopping window, but unless he performs and then signs a multi-year deal you have to just hold.
