Tony Pollard Signs With Titans - Fantasy Impact

This is a strong RB free agency class, and Pollard was among the better options. Pollard was snapped up by the Titans, who themselves allowed Derrick Henry to leave them this offseason. The Titans gave Pollard a three-year deal that could be worth up for $24m, so have placed some confidence in their man.

Pollard didn’t hit the heights that fantasy managers hoped for, but still managed to have over 1,000 yards on the ground, with 55 receptions for 311 yards through the air. With that receiving ability, he will add a new dimension to the Titans offense that typically just relied on handing the ball off to Henry.

Pollard was clearly suffering from his offseason ankle surgery last offseason, but he should be able to be more like his dynamic self another season on from his injury. His struggles for the Cowboys though will impact his overall value.

He should be a decent RB2 option, as the likely starter for the team with Spears getting spelled as the backup for another season. However, Pollard has worked well as part of a committee, as he can be more explosive with a reduced workload.
