College Career

Stevenson played two years at Oklahoma, after starting out at the Junior College level. Would have played in more games if it hadn’t been for his drug test suspension. That failed test meant he missed his bowl game in 2019, and five games in 2020.

Scouting Report

Positives

Stevenson has good vision on runs inside the tackles, either finding an open hole or barelling through using his size. Fights through contract, allowing him to get yards after contact each play. Has good strength, allowing him to keep defenders away, and a decent spin move.

Crucially, has good ability in pass protection, and can be used as a check-down option if needed.

Negatives:

Can struggle in making good decisions, unable to see (or possibly change direction) into cutback holes that appear. Doesn’t have good top-end speed which limits his big-play ability. Is sometimes overconfident going into contact, so could suffer from turnovers in the NFL. Isn’t a natural receiver, with limited ability to create seperation.

Pre Draft Analysis

Expected Draft Capital:

5th or 6th round pick.

Landing Spots:

Likely to be used as a goal-line back wherever he goes, or in a limited role. Not likely to be given a large workload.
