Scouting Report
Positives
Has good acceleration and burst to explode through small gaps, and agile enough to make defenders miss in open space. Happy to run into contact too and works for the extra yards after contact. Patient behind his offensive line for a cap to open up. Has decent ability as a receiving option, with some snaps taken out wide.
Negatives
Doesn’t have the size to be an effective three-down back in the NFL. If a defender is able to line him up, he can struggle to win that impact and suffer a loss of yardage. Struggles at times to get free of defenders in open space with lack of top end speed. Limited route running ability.

Landing Spots
Goodson is likely to be drafted late, if he is drafted. Could find himself taken by a team that mixes in a number of backs. Could be used as to spell a more effective RB, but lacks top end speed to be used as a speed back consistently.
Feels like a lottery ticket in fantasy drafts, rather than a player that you can actually rely on.
