Rasheen Ali - RB - Marshall

Ali has the ability to make plays, and a great athlete. The issue with him is a team will just need to take a stab on what he has done on tape after suffering a badly timed injury that kept him out of the combine.

Finished the season with 250 carries for 1,401 yards and 23 TDs on the ground, as well as 45 receptions for 334 yards and another score as a receiver. Got injured in 2022, which limited his production, opting to return to college to play again to improve his chances in the draft. Scouting Report

Ali is a good athlete, with good twitch, and would’ve tested well at the combine if he was able to. Has good breakaway speed, and can change direction effectively without losing speed effectively. Can also stop and start effectively, which can help wrong foot defenders. Generally makes good decisions on opening gaps to cut through. Ali is an effective receiver, especially on short routes (screens and short bootlegs).

A badly timed injury is obviously a negative. That could really disrupt his preparation, and it’s already stopped him taking part in the draft. It could impact his ability to take part in preseason too, which could make him a casualty of roster cuts. He also needs to work on his pass protection, as he can get over-powered.

Landing Spots

Ali is a good receiver and is an effective runner with the ball in his hands. Does well working horizontally before finding his gap to get up field. He will need to land on a team that doesn’t have alot of competition on it though, or find himself on a practice squad- due to his recent injury.
